Recommended Exercise Bikes
If money is not a concerning factor, then the Lifecycle C3-5 is the best exercise bike. It is provided with features which are found only in gyms, such as 20 levels of resistance, 10 pre-programmed workouts and a Polar heart rate monitor with wireless chest strap. Pedaling itself powers this exercise bike hence you don't need to plug it in the socket. It has a 400 pound weight capacity. Life Fitness gives a lifetime frame warranty and 3 years on parts and 1 year labor warranty. Recumbent Exercise Bike: The recumbent edition of this bike is the Life Fitness R3-5 (costs about $1,800). If you don’t require so much programs and a heart rate monitor, the Nautilus NR 2000 is better ($ 1300). According to reviews, the NR 2000 exercise bike doesn’t provide all features of the Lifecycle C3-5, but it has 16 resistance levels, a good warranty and 10 preprogrammed workouts. One more feature provided is a heart rate control that adjusts intensity to keep your target. This exercise bike has a 300 pound weight capacity. Its cost is estimated to be $400. Budget exercise bike: The Upright Schwinn is excellent in Budget bikes. This bike performs well for much less cost. It lacks bells and whistles of Life Fitness and Nautilus exercise bikes. It has a 300 pound weight capacity, 10 programs, 16 resistance levels and a console fan. It has a hand-grip heart rate monitor which isn't as precise as a chest strap. Build Quality is reflected in the short 90 day labor warranty and hence this machine won't have the same pounding as the Life Fitness or Nautilus exercise bikes. You can have one of above exercise bikes according to your requirement or you can choose different bike. But, the experts have recommended above bikes. So, it is better to purchase one of the above.
