There are insensitive people who make fun of this person, knowing he or she can't hear properly. It can wear on a person's self esteem and create depression when one cannot hear properly and constantly has to struggle to be understood and to understand. Even though hearing aids don't solve all the problems of a hearing loss, they can greatly enrich the life of the person who needs the help and those who communicate with this person.
